The true location of ‘Babylon’ is in the rebellious heart of man. It really doesn’t matter where the physical location of Babylon is. Men have always been attracted to her promises of security and prominence and power.
The extent men will go to make a profit is a form of idolatry common to mankind since the world began. It will not end until God puts it to an end.
In “one hour” this shall happen.
Babylon, which has been fallen since Genesis chapter 11, will fall eternally once the seventh bowl judgement is poured out.
And all the profiteers will mourn her fall, not because of Babylon itself, but because of the wealth they have gained by their association with her. That Babylon is a source of evil in the world matters not to profiteers, because worldly gain is their sole focus.
Jesus came with an alternative to Babylon. He informed mankind life does not consist of the things we possess in this world. After all, God is going to destroy this world the same way He is going to destroy Babylon.
What price would man pay for his soul? Would he gain the whole world if he could? Jesus tells us the soul of one man is worth more to God than the entire universe.
Man is precious to his Creator God in Christ. This present age in which elites of the world are gathering to contrive a one-world government established by and for ruling elites only according to what they may gain from it shall be destroyed. It must be destroyed.
All eternal heaven will rejoice. The elite worldly profiteers will mourn. Their losses will be staggering, but nothing in comparison to what they refused to gain in Christ for the sake of eternal life in heaven.
